Afghanistan Research Institute (ARI) is the academic research arm of the Canadian University of Afghanistan, dedicated to generating evidence-based insights that inform policy, foster innovation, and support sustainable development in Afghanistan. ARI brings together students, scholars, and practitioners to tackle the country’s most pressing social and economic challenges.

Vision

To be a leading center for transformative research that advances peace, innovation, and sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Mission

To conduct high-impact research that addresses the critical needs of Afghan society. Our aim is to build the capacity of aspiring Afghan researchers, inform policy, empower communities, and contribute to national and global dialogues on Afghanistan’s development. Through collaboration with academic institutions, civil society, and international partners, we aim to turn insight into innovation and innovation into progress.

Interested in our work?

We welcome collaboration with scholars, institutions, NGOs, policy-makers, and individuals who share our commitment to advancing research, education, and sustainable development in Afghanistan.
