Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@cuaf.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

CUAF is a not-for-profit initiative. Its purpose is to make high-quality education accessible, affordable, and relevant to Afghan learners. All efforts are focused on expanding opportunity and equity through education. It is dedicated to advocating for the educational rights of Afghan learners. It serves as a bridge, connecting Afghan students with universities, colleges, and training institutions around the world to provide access to online courses, short programs, and skills-based bootcamps.

CUAF is currently in the process of registering as an online university in Afghanistan. While this process is underway, CUAF operates as a platform and connector rather than a degree-granting institution. At the moment, CUAF does not offer its own academic degrees. Instead, it facilitates access to high-quality online courses and bootcamps delivered by trusted third-party education providers.

CUAF focuses on helping Afghan learners access:

  • Short online courses
  • Professional skills-based bootcamps
  • Certificate programs

These programs are offered by CUAF's partners and are designed to meet the needs of learners seeking practical, relevant education for personal and professional growth.

CUAF is for Afghan learners, regardless of gender, age, or location, who have been historically deprived of access to quality education due to decades of conflict and instability. We believe it is not fair for Afghan learners to be left behind, and we are committed to ensuring they have equal access to global learning opportunities.

CUAF is actively seeking partnerships with universities, colleges, educational technology providers, nonprofits, and other institutions interested in supporting Afghan learners. If you or your organization is interested in collaboration, please reach out to us: yama@cuaf.ca
