Master the Research Process
The Research Bootcamp is an intensive and interactive online training program designed to equip students, professionals, and aspiring researchers with the core competencies needed to conduct high-quality academic or applied research.
Program Duration
- 8 Consecutive Days of 2-hours Online Sessions
- Followed by 1 Year of Mentoring & Support
What You Will Learn
Each day of the Bootcamp is dedicated to one major stage of the research process. By the end of the program, you will have developed a research proposal or mini-project based on your own topic of interest.
1. Identifying a Problem or Topic: Learn how to choose a meaningful and research-worthy topic that aligns with your goals and contributes to knowledge or practice.
2. Conducting a Literature Review: Master the art of reviewing academic and professional sources to understand existing research, identify gaps, and justify your study.
3. Formulating Research Questions or Objectives: Develop clear, focused, and answerable research questions or objectives that guide your entire research project.
4. Designing Your Research (Qualitative, Quantitative, or Mixed Methods): Explore different research designs and select the most appropriate approach for your topic and data needs.
5. Collecting Data: Gain practical tools and techniques for gathering reliable data through surveys, focus group discussions, interviews, observations, and more.
6. Analyzing Data: Learn how to organize, code, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data using relevant tools and software.
7. Interpreting Results: Understand how to draw meaning from your data, connect findings to your research questions, and recognize limitations.
8. Reporting and Presenting Findings: Develop skills for writing your research report, creating presentations, and communicating results effectively to different audiences.
Students will be trained on AI research tools and academic writing through additional workshops.
Certificate & Badge
Participants who complete the BootCamp will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Digital Badge to showcase their achievement.
Participants who participate in the 1-year mentorship program and complete their research project will receive the PhT Certificate and PhT Digital Badge.
Beyond the BootCamp:
1 Year of Research Support and Mentoring
Earn the PhT: Practitioner of Higher Thinking (An exclusive CUAF recognition)
Graduates of the Research Bootcamp will gain access to 1 full year of personalized mentoring and research support, helping them apply their skills to real-world projects, academic studies, or innovation initiatives. (This support is subject to the availability of research mentors.)
As part of this extended journey, participants will be awarded the title of:
🏅 PhT: Practitioner of higher Thinking, a unique CUAF distinction recognizing individuals who combine critical inquiry, ethical research, and reflective thinking to create meaningful impact.
This is not a traditional academic degree, it is a mark of excellence and commitment to high-level thinking, responsible research, and continuous growth as a thought leader.

That’s why we are excited to introduce PhT (Practitioner of Higher Thinking), a CUAF-exclusive recognition awarded to those who complete our Research Masterclass and commit to one year of mentored research-in-action.
While the PhD remains a gold standard in academia and formal research, the PhT is designed for practitioners, changemakers, and innovators who want to think deeply, act ethically, and create meaningful impact through research, without the barriers of traditional academic structures.
